NEW YORK -- So what would you say was the most effective car ad last year -- a sexy Cadillac CTS spot, a Howie Long Silverado ad dissing the Toyota Tundra, or the Kia Soul spot with hip and funky hamsters cruising to some throbbing pop music?

Need you ask?

Based on consumer surveys, Nielsen Automotive gave the title to Kia's hamsters during the opening breakfast this morning here at the New York auto show.

Watching the audience grin as the Kia ad was shown, it wasn't hard to see why.

Those hamsters are just so darn cute.

No wonder Kia says more rocking rodents are coming.
