Chrysler Group said it will resume Saturday overtime at a minivan assembly plant in Windsor, Ontario. Last week it canceled Saturday work because of a parts shortage it declined to identify.

The plant builds the Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans along with Volkswagen’s Routan minivan. The plant employs about 4,600 hourly workers and churns out 1,500 minivans per day on three shifts.

U.S. sales of the Grand Caravan have increased 26 percent this year to 58,063 through May, and Town & Country deliveries are up 24 percent to 48,830. Routan sales have fallen by 22 percent to 3,965 units over the same five-month stretch.
